Adventure to a land of mysticism and incredible natural phenomena. Huaraz rests at 10,000ft, nestled between the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra. The Indigenous Quechua Tribe make up a large percentage of the local population, creating a truly unique cultural experience. With Mundo you will receive an insider's guide through an under the radar epicenter for adventure, as you partake in trekking, rock climbing and white water rafting through majestic mountains and crystal clear glacial lakes. A percentage of your trip proceeds are used to bring life changing supplies to the local children Aldea Orphanage, here  you will directly partake in changing the lives of these 25 children and connect authentically with them over the course of our time together.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Explore the mountain village of Huaraz, Peru!

Acclimatize to the 10,000ft altitude and you enjoy a traditional Peruvian lunch and opening ceremony. Daily teachings with Mandolin and Melissa! Explore the historic sites of Huaraz with some local friends, then enjoy sunset yoga surrounded by mountains. Commemorate the start of our journey with a decadent dinner out. Huaraz is a secret foodie haven with world class restaurants from all over the world. 

 

Day 2

Bring life changing supplies to the children of Aldea Orphanage!

Morning yoga & meditation, daily teachings with Mandolin and Melissa, then go visit the children of Aldea Orphanage. Funds from your retreat supply these children with fundamental supplies, and you can hand deliver them. We invest in these children not as charity, but an investment in our collective future. Later, enjoy another night on the town for a delicious dinner out!

Day 3

Go a little deeper into the lives of the children of Aldea Orphanage then venture deep into the Peruvian Andes and spend the night at a one of a kind sustainability center, Apu Ecolodge .

Sunrise restorative yoga & meditation to greet the day. After breakfast, daily teachings with Mandolin and Melissa. Later, meet the children for some play and fun. After lunch, adventure deeper into the mountains to the village of Caraz, where we will be for the remainder of retreat. Check out our amazing eco-lodge, utilize the climbing wall, or just relax and take in the fresh air! End the day with a celebratory dinner! 

Day 4

Explore Indigenous villages, and natural hot springs by a pristine river!

Morning restorative yoga & meditation. Take private transport to a day packed with hiking, hot springs, Indigenous villages, and rivers! Later enjoy some teachings with Melissa, then a gorgeous sunset and family style dinner!

DAY 5

Enjoy our eco lodge, relax and enjoy a day of yoga and self love practices . 

Sleep in, then enjoy morning yoga & meditation outside. Take a day to rest up physically, explore the miles of organic garden, connect with the locals and eat fresh fruits from the trees. We will be going deeper into Worthy teachings with Melissa today! Enjoy the vast landscape and relax, then take part in a family style dinner with local friends. 

Day 6

Adventure to the highest accessible glacial lake in South America, Laguna Parón!

Rooftop restorative yoga & meditation. Take private transport to our trailhead. Hike for about 3 hours to Laguna Parón, at 13,642' ft it is the highest accessible alpine lake in Peru. Enjoy a day of hiking and kayaking the crystal clear waters of this glacier fed lake. Celebrate the evening with local friends and a handmade organic & locally sourced meal from our property accommodation to commemorate our time together. 

Day 7

Yoga, meditation, ceremony, all the food. We are familiiy!

Sleep in, then wake up to fresh coffee and breakfast in the mountains. Yoga and meditation are followed by some relax time and then a profound closing ceremony. Pick up can be arranged for you ahead of time depending on your flight time
